We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for our esports team as we make our debut in real-world racing! After countless hours of racing on iRacing, we’re gearing up to take our talents from the virtual world to the asphalt of High Plains Raceway in Deer Trail, Colorado. On September 14-15, 2024, our team will be racing a Porsche 944, marking our first-ever in-person event as a unit.
Meet the Team
Floyd Kerr
Floyd Kerr, one of our team’s most skilled drivers, has consistently impressed us with his precision and strategic thinking in the virtual cockpit. Known for his smooth driving style and knack for finding the ideal racing line, Floyd is ready to take it to the track. Also the car’s owner and so he will bring plenty of veteran leadership to this event.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso brings a competitive edge to the team with his aggressive driving approach and quick reflexes. In sim racing, Alex has been known for his daring overtakes and relentless pursuit of speed. As we step into real-world racing, Alex’s fearless attitude and sharp instincts will play a significant role in our overall performance, pushing us to new heights. Alex also has on track experience so his knowledge will be vital to the team.
Greg Conaway
Greg Conaway is another exciting driver looking to bring his talents to the track in his first experience with real world racing. On the physical track, Greg’s analytical skills will help us fine-tune our strategy and car setup, ensuring we’re prepared for every challenge High Plains Raceway throws our way.
Turner Schroll
Turner Schroll is the last member of the driver lineup and also a newcomer to the real world racing that awaits. Turner’s enthusiasm and determination are boundless, making him a vital part of our team’s dynamic. As we transition to real-life racing, Turner’s energy and commitment will be pivotal in pushing our limits and achieving our goals.
The Challenge: High Plains Raceway
High Plains Raceway, located in Deer Trail, Colorado, is renowned for its technical layout and challenging turns. This 2.55-mile road course will be the perfect proving ground for our team as we put our skills to the test in a Porsche 944. The track’s diverse corners and elevation changes will challenge our drivers and provide valuable insights into how our virtual skills translate to real-world racing.
Our First In-Person Event
This event represents a major milestone for our team. The transition from virtual racing to real-world competition is both thrilling and daunting. We’re eager to see how our preparation and teamwork will pay off on the track. With our combined experience and passion for racing, we’re ready to take on the challenge and make a strong impression.
